Most importantly I met my best friend Ryan. He was far more skilled than I was, and always will be. Although I had done some light engine, suspension and exhaust work, it was Ryan that revolutionized my car knowledge. I met him at a local car meet while discussing a 1990 Probe GT I had just bought in Fenton, MI. It had an automatic transmission with a shifting problem. I had purchased a replacement transmission and I needed to get it installed. The job was far over my head. He simply shrugged his shoulders and explained how easy it was to swap. I was impressed and offered to pay him to do it. Payment turned into buying him lunch and giving him a 4-channel car amplifier. He did a flawless job and the 1990 PGT was up and running again
