In 2000 I started “EVERY DETAIL” after being canned from a local detailing shop 2 weeks into the job. I was let go because I was spending too much time on the vehicles. I was incapable of cutting corners. In an odd twist of events, I ended up with a large client of theirs because my workmanship was better. At the height of the business, I had over 200 clients and hadn’t done any effective advertising at all (yellow pages). All my business had come from word of mouth.
My detailing days are long over. I stopped detailing in 2005 because I saw a better future in technology related fields. The career taught me how to drastically improve the looks of a vehicle, knowledge I would leverage on the large car project ahead.
